Youthbuild
targets Northern Kentucky youth between the ages of 16
and 24 and teaches construction skills, helps youth develop leadership and job search skills, while contributing to the community. Participants practice their construction skills by participating in construction projects with nonprofit housing agencies.
- You will learn a variety of construction skills that will transform into a well-paid job.
- You will sharpen your leadership skills while earning your G.E.D. or high school diploma.
- Learn construction skills from experienced professionals in our community.
- You will meet other classmates just like you and gain new social and professional friendships.
- You will be paid a stipend while participating in the program
- You will receive job placement assistance
after you complete the training

To participate in the YouthBuild Program you must:
- Be within 16-24 years of age and have not graduated from high school.
- Meet program’s income requirements.

Youthbuild
is an 8-month program where you will spend half of your time
in the
classroom working
on your GED and receiving training in construction. The other
half of your time will be spent on a construction site building and renovating
homes for low income families. You will also participate in field trips, learn from guest speakers
and other participate in leadership development activities.
