LINK recognizes that literacy is more than "just" reading and writing. It includes the ability to communicate with those of different cultures and backgrounds. Responding to the growing Hispanic community in Northern Kentucky, LINK established Latino Lunches, where business and professionals can learn basic conversational Spanish that will help them better communicate with their employees, their customers, their students and their neighbors. Participants bring a brown bag lunch for six week/twice weekly sesions, which are individualized according to the learning objectives of the students.
