NKCAC chosen to operate Owen Senior Center

The Owen County Fiscal Court has asked Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission to become the managing agent for the Owen County Senior Center, effective March 1, 2007. After a local search, NKCAC has hired Owen County native, Lisa Riddle, as Center Director. Lisa has significant administrative experience, and extensive knowledge of the senior population and local community resources.

NKCAC is planning to expand operating hours for the center, opening each weekday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The agency has planned several new activities and services for participants in the center, including exercise, special theme days, recreational activities, arts and crafts, and a variety of educational programs.
