Owen County Senior Center Welcomes the Community to Open House
 

Owenton, Ky. – Come join the fun at the Owen County Senior Center Open House on Sunday, June 22nd from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. The senior center is located at 103 Perry Street in Owenton.

“We would like to welcome the community to come visit our wonderful facility, meet the staff and see all of the opportunities we have for seniors.” said Lisa McBurney, Owen County Senior Center Director.

A fun day is planned with delicious appetizers, soft drinks, music and lots of socializing.  There will also be lots of door prizes! Come see why the seniors who are “regulars” at the center enjoy it so much.

The Owen County Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm. The center’s daily activities are free and include cards, board games and computer games and most of all having fun with friends. The center has a piano, a large screen TV. and also has internet access.  Bingo starts at 1:00pm on Fridays. Lunch is served daily and costs $3.00 for seniors 60 years old and older and $4.00 for seniors under 60.
