Community Action Gallery promotes art and artists
Our celebration of art makes us a partner with all of creation.
Northern Kentucky Community Action is promoting art and the artists who create it through a new gallery at 717 Madison Avenue in Covington, KY. The gallery takes advantage of the public space in NKCAC's new administrative services center to display art work in rotating exhibits throughout the year.
The Community Action Gallery is located on the ground floor of the administrative services center of Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, 717 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. The gallery opened in October, 2007 with a special exhibit of work by students of the Duvenek Center. Exhibits feature local artists, and change approximately every two months. Artwork is for sale, with the proceeds benefiting both the artist and the Community Action Gallery. The Gallery’s curator is Arlene Gibeau.
The Community Action Gallery is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with artist receptions on the first Friday of each new exhibit. The gallery is closed on holidays and weekends.
