Northern Kentucky Community Action
Commission's housing services include a comprehensive mix of home
ownership opportunities, rehabilitation, rental assistance and
homeless prevention services. Services include one-on-one budget, credit and pre-purchase counseling, and coordination with housing finance organizations to promote home ownership and increase the availability of affordable housing opportunities in the region.

Weatherization and home repair services are available for low income families throughout the eight county region. Our weatherization department has received numerous awards for the quality of work. Health and safety are the overriding concerns as crews install energy conservation measures on about 170 homes each year. Application can be made through our neighborhood centers.

NKCAC believes that one of the best and
more enduring routes out of poverty is through home ownership. To
that end, NKCAC's housing and community services staff work closely
together to provide home ownership services for the region's low and
moderate income families. Services include home ownership
preparation classes and coordination with
housing finance organizations to promote home ownership and increase the availability
of affordable housing opportunities in the region. For more information contact
us by phone, 859 581-6607, or by email.

Through our network of neighborhood centers, NKCAC provides a
variety of rental assistance services, including help with rent and
utilities.
