POSITION: Weatherization Manager
LOCATION: Florence, KY, traveling throughout eight county region

POSITION SUMMARY

Supervises trains and directs weatherization work crews performing weatherization activities; inspects homes to be weatherized; ensures all heating units meet health and safety standards; determines weatherization measures to be performed per code on approved dwellings. Insures that weatherization staff have the knowledge, tools, training and information necessary to weatherize dwellings. Perform final inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Current Kentucky Licensed Electrical Journeyman and/or HVAC license or certification with the ability to obtain license preferred.
• Ability to travel to, attend and pass all required Weatherization training.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in residential construction, HVAC installation and repair.
• Experience installing HVAC components, quality control testing and troubleshooting. A working knowledge of HVAC electricity and refrigeration.
• Knowledge of all OSHA safety regulations and appropriate use of tools and equipment necessary in the Weatherization department.
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training or experience in estimating. The Estimator must have the ability supervise; work closely with diverse groups of people, including employees, and outside professionals (Engineers, subcontractors, vendors).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and be insurable.
• Computer literate.
