POSITION: Weatherization Laborer

DEPARTMENT: Weatherization
LOCATION: Florence; but traveling in 8 county area

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
Weatherizating and insulating approved homes in accordance with weatherization guidelines and procedures to minimize heat loss and improve health, safety and thermal efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED.
Training at a trade, vocational, technical school or on the job/union training helpful.
Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.

EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in construction/home repairs or building trade.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to work with people of diverse and varying socio-economic backgrounds.
Willingness to receive training and accept direction and supervision.
Ability to pass random drug/alcohol testing.
